I first met Bill at a Pubcon years ago (~2008-ish?) and eventually was lucky enough to speak on some structured data panels with him when Schema was still in its infancy. Bill is always so willing to discuss a problem or help brainstorm possible solutions. He also sat me down and explained why the term "LSI" or "Latent Semantic Indexing" was being used incredibly incorrectly in relation to SEO in an easy to understand way - I still appreciate that conversation so much.

Nearly every SEO who has been on Twitter or gone to conferences in the last decade and a half has been influenced or helped by Bill in some way - he's definitely responsible for a ton of our industry's understanding of how the Google Algorithms work and I'm so grateful to him for his guidance and insight.

Get well soon Bill - can't wait to hear from you soon!
