I first bumped into Bill online on webmasterworld. He posted a wild theory about some update that was linked to a patent. At first I was amused, but as I dug more into it, I was convinced that Bill had dug up something hugely valuable to the community. I watched as Bill took those deep dives into theory and put them into practice at his own company. It was an outstanding application of research and action. It really drove home to me, that even though SEO can feel like reading tea leaves some days, if you do the homework it can pay off. Thanks Bill!
