RIP Bill Slawski, I would not be the SEO that I am today if it wasn't for you.

The first time I encountered Bill was when he took me to the cleaners on Twitter after I commented on one of his LSI keyword tweets saying something incorrect about ML.

I had no idea who I was talking to 😂. I had just gotten back into the industry, and hadn't known of Bill before.

What was at first the most embarrassed I've ever been on social media, turned into the best thing that could have happened for my growth as an SEO.

That morning my plan to get a bunch of deep work done quickly turned to shit as I spiraled down largest rabbit hole ever on his site SEO by the sea.

Studying Bill's work became my primary focus throughout 2021 and the pandemic. I am forever grateful for his work and contributions to SEO.
