The SEO industry is full of colorful personalities jostling for attention. Few manage to be universally liked and respected alike. Bill Slawski is one of them. I've met Bill in person in SEO conferences where I was either a panel moderator or keynote speaker and we've spent quite some time talking afterwards. He is engaging, knowledgeable and as likeable in person as he is in his digital persona.
Over the years, through online exchanges, I have benefited from Bill's knowledge of search patents, analytical approach to Google updates and dissecting intellect when it comes to theories on how specific actions impact what appears on search. I do not exaggerate in the least in saying that without him the quality of knowledge across the SEO world would be that much poorer. I am glad he's on the mend and continues to be part of our community.
